Austin Brekken
Summer Intern
Austin Brekken is a 2026 graduate of St. Olaf College, where he studied Psychology, Business Management, and Family Studies. He graduated with an overall GPA of 3.49 (3.86 in Business Management) and was a member of the service fraternity APO (Alpha Phi Omega). He particularly enjoyed his courses in personal finance, entrepreneurship, and business policies and strategies.
While at St. Olaf, he interned with Secure Base Counseling, where he worked with teen clients, and with the Minnesota Aurora, where he supervised a team of interns during the 2025 season.
His time on the hill was not all studies and service. He was also an active participant in club-level golf and soccer and in intramural volleyball, basketball, and broomball.
He is excited to learn more about the wealth management business and to contribute to the company over the summer. He will be spending time in both the Des Moines and Cedar Rapids offices and looks forward to connecting with other team members virtually as well.
