What do you consider your biggest accomplishment at Private Wealth?
I joined Private Wealth a week prior to our company’s launch date. At that time, my goal was to learn from the best advisors in the business and to integrate myself on the team to play a role that would be valued by clients and co-workers. Additionally, I want to be seen as an essential member of our community. Through leadership, networking, and community involvement, I will continue to be someone that our neighbors know and can seek out for help and guidance.

What motivates you or makes you happiest in your role?
I am driven by the opportunity to provide value in our clients’ lives, whether it is as simple as organizing their financial lives using online tools or bringing new ideas that allow them to further their financial success. Walking the path and succeeding with clients is a great motivator for me.
What is the best piece of financial advice you ever received?
Be an investor, not a trader.
Where is the coolest place you’ve ever visited, or want to visit?
In 2017, our family traveled to central Missouri to view the solar eclipse. It was such an awe-inspiring event that we quickly made reservations to travel to the path of totality again in April 2024. This practice of chasing celestial phenomenon has inspired our bucket list as my wife and I will one day travel to Iceland to view the Northern Lights.

Steak and potatoes. Bourbon, neat.

My wife, Alyssa, and I met during our undergrad years in Iowa City. We were married in the Fall of 2013 and currently have one child, Mara, born in 2021.
As a fun fact, I am constantly in search of the best buffalo chicken sandwich in the eastern Iowa area!
